Header Functions

The contents and operability of a header are different between the person-in-charge and participants.

Person in charge

• Date, time and contents of an event
• Remaining time
• To set or view your own screen
• To refresh a conference screen
• To start, pause or resume a conference
• To end a conference
• You can set video quality of web conference members.
• To display the layout of Main View
• Status of real-time communication.
• Name of logged in user.
  Click the displayed name to display a menu.

Participants


The operability for a participant is lesser compared to an organizer.

My Screen Settings

To check and set the settings of your screen.


Video Preview

The left image is displayed when the preview window is being displayed and the right image is displayed when the preview window is being hide.

• View and hide the preview mode.
  
  * Other participants can still viewing your screen even the preview window is being hide.
• Your video that currently being transmitted.

Lock/Unlock Menu

The left image is displayed when the menu is being locked and the right image is displayed when the menu is being unlocked.

• Lock and unlock preview window.
  
  * If preview window is unlocked, you can freely move the dialog by drag and drop operation.
  
• View and hide the preview mode.
  * If preview window is unlocked, you can view and hide the preview video.

Video Settings

Click the camera icon to view the video settings.

• Choose whether or not to share your image to participants.
  If "OFF" is selected, your image will not being shared.
• Choose whether to share your image or screen.
  
  * Screen sharing feature can be used only during SSL transmission.
  * Screen sharing feature can be used only with Firefox or Google Chrome.
  (The viewers can use any browser to view the shared screen.)
  * For Google Chrome, the installation of the related extension is required.
  (For more information, refer to Web Conference > Others > How to install an extension on Google Chrome.)
  
• Switch to other camera.

Sound Settings

Click the microphone icon to view the sound settings.

• Choose whether or not to mute your microphone to participants.
  If "OFF" is selected, your microphone will be muted.
  
  * If you are not in Main View, your microphone will be muted regardless of this settings.
  (For more explanation of Main View, refer to Web Conference > Main View / Member View.)
• Switch to other microphone.

Reload

Click this button to reload the web conference screen.

Start, Pause and Resume

* This features are displayed only if you are a person-in-charge.

The button changes according to the situation of a web conference.

• Start button : Start a conference and video transmissions.
  
• Pause button : Pause a web conference. Transmission of image and sound will be paused.
  
• Resume button : Resume a conference and video transmissions.
  

When you start/resume web conference, if video quality is unset, open video quality setting window before it.

End

* This features are displayed only if you are a person-in-charge.

Click "End" button to end a web conference.
Transmission of image and sound will be end after a web conference is ended.

Video Quality Setting

* This is available only person in charge of the web conference.

You click [Video Quality Setting] to open video quality setting window.

• You cat set video finely.
  
  * Higher quality makes better video, but it makes higher load and larger sending/receiving data.
• You cat set video smoothly.
  
  * Higher frequency makes smooth video, but it makes higher load.

Choose Layout

* This features are displayed only if you are a person-in-charge.

Layout selection of Main View will be displayed.
(For more information of layout selection, refer to Web Conference > Layout Management > Choose Layout in User's Manual.)

Exit

Click the displayed name and "Exit" button will be displayed.
Click "Exit" button to exit from a web conference.
The web conference tab will be closed.
